RECREATIONAL SOCCER WEATHER HOTLINE 440-465-7457
Bad weather or poor field conditions could cause cancellation of recreational soccer games. If we are able to make a determination in advance we will post game-day cancellation status on our weather hotline, 440-465-7457. The decision will be made and posted in the morning, prior to 8:00 a.m.
Conditions could worsen later in the day, causing cancellation to become a game-time decision. If you are in doubt please report to the field unless you hear otherwise from your team's coach.
Coaches: You will be notified by the league commissioner if your game is canceled. Please do not cancel a game on your own, this leaves the other team and a referee waiting for you at a field.
Lightning Policy: If lightning is seen or thunder is heard, then a threat is present and the game must be immediately suspended and players sent to safe cover. The game may not be resumed until 30 minutes after the last thunder or lightning.
