SELSC Statement of Unity

SELSC believes that black lives matter. We strongly denounce racism at every level and commit to listen to and support minority voices and to actively work to promote equality. More than just exercise and competition, SELSC soccer is about community. Sports bring together different races and ethnicities, religions, family structures, and skill levels. But playing as a team, soccer has the power to unite. Our soccer club is a diverse organization comprised of families from South Euclid, Lyndhurst, Richmond Heights, and surrounding communities. We believe that representation matters; our leadership is diverse from our board to our coaches and FORCE instructors.

We want a better world for our children. We recognize our great responsibility playing a part in your child’s life experiences. We commit to using soccer as an opportunity to embrace diversity and the power of standing alongside those who may not look like us. We are a team, and we are stronger together. And we can’t wait to be together in the Fall for our next season.
